changed?

This was supposed to be the posted in the old board. Since I got this now…
(Dated on the 21st of January 2009. A few days after I got back from the western side of the country.)

Okkkkkkkkk
Enough of those rubbishes.

I went out today, at night. Something which I have started doing it here since I ‘on and off’. It was a dinner outing but still I had my light dinner before I leave, mum insisted on it.

As usual, I was late, like some others. We dined in Upperstar, it is some typical local western food restaurant of which include some local dishes in their menu. The restaurant is something about like Chilies, but not to that standard. Maybe it is something like Gasoline? Ordered some fold-over, ice lemon tea is too sour for me. We chatted, we snapped and we chatted. I tried my best to talk. I talked to some of which I hardly talk to 2 years ago. We chatted about random stuff, studies, knowing each other life a lil better, joking around.

Couples of hour later, we’ve decided on going for a midnight movie at Center Point Shopping Complex. The feeling of temptation attacked me. If the decision is positive I must make a call. I broke my curse. Before making the final decision on ‘yes’, guiltiness comes in invading my soul. But… I called my dad to ask if it’s ok if I go back late; early in the morning around 2am. Instead of asking, for him (I guess), my way of asking sounds like just wanted to inform him. Not surprisingly, he agreed, ended with some typical-old-advice (did he say something ‘yes’? oh, maybe no.).

It was raining heavily. And oh, before sitting in their car instead of driving myself there, I parked my car in Malcolm housing area, oh well, security issue. One important note, his driving style is dangerous especially in ‘heavily rained night’. The others say the same too. Please la.

Upon reaching there, the parking lots are tooooooooo empty. It was fun making the joke of scared of being robbed and stuff. We watched Cape no 7 for 5 bux. Haha. RM5! the movie? Oh, before that: the cinema was a total empty when we first came in. Soon, there is only four more human came in for the movie and that is it. Yeah, going for a movie at this hour on Wednesday, highly unlikely. We made some noise, snapped a little while waiting for the movie to kick off. Besides, here’s the best part. The theater’s screen turned into total darkness when we’re trying to understand the movie after about 30 minutes of screening. Is this part of the movie? Obviously no. Every human being including us in that theater was left uninformed of what was happening and sitting in darkness. Until a couples of minutes later, the staff told us there’s some technical problem with their machine, projector or whatever you call it (you get what I mean). It was not a mere few minutes, it last for about 5 or 10 minutes. Ok fine. The movie resumed after that.

The best of the best part is: the same shit happened again, for the second time. It was great! We’re so lucky!

By chance, we managed to finish the movie. By the way, some of us fell asleep. Wilson lay down on the seats. Ok. I don’t really understand the movie. It was something like ‘secret, bu neng suo de mi mi’ of which is way too romantic style I guess, to the point that I could hardly understand it. Another possibility is maybe there’s a lot of Taiwan Hokkien speaking scene that made me gone lost. Oh well, there you go 5 bux.

Attendee(with some unexpected guest): Winnie, Chong Ping Xing, Kwan Yee Wai (changed a lot), Alexander Chong, Lee Han Yao, Lee Wee Thing, Wilson Chang, Shanon Asrie, Tan Lek Cheng, Malcolm, Brandon and one of two friends of theirs.

After everything, I drove back home straight away, alone for a kind of long journey. Along the whole journey, some part was total darkness without street lights. I rarely saw one or two car passing on either lane. It seems like I was the only one on the road at this hour. I might be seeing something unusual too, if I’m lucky. Yet, I’m not. Ha-Ha.

On the other hand, I was indeed, lucky. I saw some blue light blinking in front. ‘Police’ is in my mind. And yes indeed I was lucky. It was road block, police inspection and my driving license is expired. Oh well, this is my first time sitting in the driving seat being stop by police.

I do not understand police sign language, to be precise, hand or fingers language.
And I got lucky again! One of the officers discussed my case among themselves and he just reminds me to get a permanent license without any summons.

There you go. The end.

Did I actually learn to put it down, let it go? It might be, maybe not. If so, this is a change; or else, it was maybe because of the temptation, this is just temporary.
