Was completing a tourism assignment and I came across something rather catches me.
Independent travelers.
I stumble across a journal article and along the lines, to quote:

Anderson appears to describe the characteristics of an independent traveler, saying, “He is not looking for anything in particular and is not greatly concerned with what he discovers. It is in this sense that he is a true explorer” (p. 179).

About a few weeks ago, I did an online psychometric test. A test that tries to analyze or rather guess the characteristic type of a person; and it turns out to be explorer. Hmmm....
