The journey to KTM Kajang today was adventurous! Exciting? The bottom line is, it’s not a normal one.
I missed the bus. I was waiting at the road side one of the pick-up points, in front of Maybank Semenyih hoping that the bus is still there.
Oh before that, initial plan was taking 11am bus; instead of 12.30pm bus.
And oh, let’s start from the beginning, I woke up at around 6am something cause I slept early and assumes that today’s early morning plan is as usual. However, HE called it off, because HE has no mood or whatever reason it is. Haiyo!
And yeah, I missed the 11am bus. And I could only opt for the next bus, which was 12.30pm bus. By right, I should be staying at home, doing nothing until 12.25pm, to not to miss the bus for the second time. However, I took the risk of going out for grocery shopping with Graeme. And yes, taking the advantage of him having a car and all :P. and yes again, like what he did always, putting me on what fire situation or what wire or whatever you call it (enlighten me please) intentionally or unintentionally (opsz jk). I was at risk. 15 minutes past 12.30pm, standing ovationnnnn under the hot sun with little hope that the bus will come. I was still hoping. Because I promised to meet my aunt at 1pm and since I missed the 11am bus, I can’t afford to miss this again. I waited for 5 minutes, but still, no sign of the bus. However, I see hope is on my side. I took a public bus; Citylinear, I guess ha-ha. It cost me RM1.20. I got into the bus without thinking too much; as long as there is a chance that both my feet could ‘land’ on KTM station taking train.
Due to my anxiety at that particular moment asking where the bus goes before the bus continues its journey (but the bus still keep on moving), I couldn’t speak up and the bus driver assumed that I’m not able to speak Malay and hence…
On the bright side, a Chinese auntie talked to me in Mandarin about the journey and all. Meanwhile, treating me like an outsider; I know that town pretty well ok? Ok, maybe quiet well. I’ve been there for gazillions times (Wong, 2009). Ok, maybe I have the “I am a foreigner” look; and I am very good in acting like a foreigner!
On the way to the town, around I-dunno-what-it-is-called place, the Nottingham limousine is just in front of me, right in front of the bus I’m sitting!!!! Oh shit, I just missed for bus for just couples of minutes! I got the feeling of getting off the public bus and get into Nottingham limousine when both the bus stops at the traffic light (like what you always watch in the movie, ha-ha). And of course I did not. Not only once, there are situation A and B where it made me feels like jumping off to get into the limousine.
In fact, the public bus does not pass by KTM so I gotta walkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk for a distance from the hospital, under the freaking hot sun. Thank god I was wearing shorts, not jeans that make me feels like disabled person. And shoes too! SHOES ARE GOOD for walking or running. Not slippers.
Here is another incident. Somewhere along the road, or the traffic light beside the food court, the limousine that I missed and was suppose to broad in broke down! Ha-ha! Every notts in that bus ‘disembark’ from the bus though the driver’s seat door.
I have no idea what had actually happened.
Here’s come another fact. I can walk faster than most of the people I know (not to say faster than anyone else). The bus was 5? 10? 15? Meters away from me (I have no sense of distance). I walked, I walked, and I walked in a hurry style and I pass by most of the notts. I was the first one to arrive at KTM among notts. My instinct somehow tells me to hurry; maybe the train would be just in time when I got there. Luckily, indeed it was, although I have to run and jump a bit, at the stairs. By the way, two notts manage to broad in the train by somehow pushing the closing door. Oh…
The rest never make it.
Literally, I missed the bus, twice; but in fact I did not!
Wheeee….
Upon arrival, I though they gonna hang out around the mall only. But it wasn’t the case, went to meet up another aunt by taking public bus again. We did not end up in our destination but in One U mall instead because they are blur and confused of the transportation system, changes, assumptions and all, even the name of the place. I just keep my mouth shut all the time and it was an Oh-No experience… At the most, I get to eat some decent food for free! Wheeeeeeeeee!
Woah! I typed too long!
Going back journey was a waste of time. I waited for one hour for the Nottingham limousine. The train was unusual. I think they ARE improving. Dinner was kinda special and simple, Otai burger instead of the Oh-So-Famous Ramly burger together with illegal vanilla ice-cream with my own adds-on.
Satisfying cheap dessert.
The end.
Why am I getting so excited with this by typing so many words? Is this a big deal?
Huh… still in the process of knowing myself better.
oh yeah, forgotten something...chap goh mei kuai le!
